CPU isolation

directory classification: shared; applies to: All standard, managed and PAYG Cloud VPS offers unless a customer obtains a separately negotiated contract stating otherwise.; provider marketing: The current English page says CPU, RAM and storage are dedicated; the current Swedish page narrows its CPU statement to VPS LG and larger.; binding usage boundary: The AUP explicitly places VPS CPU under fair use: brief 100% bursts are allowed, but sustained 100% use for days or weeks is automatically limited to about 50% to protect fair use. RAM and storage are called dedicated. Under the directory methodology, a contention/fair-use CPU pool is shared rather than guaranteed or dedicated physical-core allocation.; processor disclosure: HostUp promises high-performance server processors but does not bind a model or clock to a plan. Independently purchased VPSBenchmarks instances have recently exposed AMD EPYC 7R13, generic EPYC Milan and Intel Xeon Platinum 8260, which are observations rather than plan guarantees.
